DOTP, a new type of plasticizer for PVC products, can reply DOP, and have better electric strength and resist cold.
Dicotyl Terephthalate (DOTP) is a primary plasticizer with the feathers of being good on resistance, low temperature resistance, thermal stability, extracting resistance, and with high plasticizing efficiency, DOTP is fit to be as the plasticizer of PVC resin, for example, when requiring PVC cable materials with high insulation feature, lowing the viscosity and lasting storage life when used in plastipaste.
DOTP doesn't contain phthate, inculding 16P, reported by SGS. It can replace DOP as a new type of plasticizer DOP with a good physical property and mechanical property. This product has such properties excellent electric strength, sesist heat, low volatility. The manufacturer can safe cost when they use DOTP substitute for DOP as a raw material of PVC product.
